Since the after-math of Hurricane Sandy gasoline has been at the peak of necessities in the area. Gas stations all over the NY/NJ area are “out of gas”. The lines all over the area are causing people to have to wait hours to get fuel in their tank. The frustration has affected several people and pushed them over the edge. This is a very sad story, but the pictures that accompany it make it much worse.  It is claimed that a Bronx man murdered his girlfriend and beat his month old to death before setting their apartment on fire! Off-Duty Cop Shot In The Bronx Search For Suspects Underway

An off-duty officer has been shot, a suspect killed and the hunt is underway for two additional suspects in The Bronx. When his girlfriend pointed out a robbery in progress the officer sprung into action. He was subsequently shot in the chest but is in stable condition at Bronx Lebanon Hospital. ‘Clean Halls’- Bronx Community Leader Agrees

The “Clean Halls” movement also known as “Stop & Frisk” is a very controversial issue in NY. In June of this year Thousands, yes thousands took a silent march to protest against the “Clean Halls Act”. Opponents of this program say it lets NYPD arrest people for trespassing outside of their own buildings. Take a look here to recap on the march in June.
