This season in television is one that is on fire. For me, I can’t seem to draw the line between keeping my eyes on work or the boob tube. Late night, the latter usually wins, especially on Tuesday nights; Being Mary Jane, starring Gabrielle Union, comes on. As if the universal topics aren’t good enough to pull you in, as a woman, it gets deeper when MJ drags another bulky man into her life. Her latest, Brandon “Cutty Buddy” Gibson, real name, Thomas Q. Jones. As MJ’s transition from a bruised-emotionally and physically-up hospital patient moves on to the news anchor lady that we all know and love, she still needs to be touched every now-and-again; enter Mr. Cutty Buddy.
