#BringBackOurGirls: Boko Haram Admits To The Abduction Of The 276 Girls In Nigeria

A recent viral video obtained by AFP news agency shows Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau admitting to the abduction of 276 Nigerian girls last month. The Islamist militant group stormed through an all-girl secondary school last month around April 14th, kidnapping hundreds of young women. The kidnapping occurred the same day as a bomb attack, also led by Boko Haram, killing 75 people in Abuja. Meanwhile, a leader of the protest to bring back the missing schoolgirls was arrested Monday. Many believe this happened under the supervision Nigeria’s first lady, after she expressed doubts a kidnapping even took place. Though the first lady’s office denied there were any arrests. We can only hope that everything is being done to rescue the missing girls. #BringOurGirlsBack
