Nigeria’s former president Olusegun Obasanjo told media that some of the estimated 2oo girls abducted may never return. Obasanjo criticized current president Goodluck Jonathan administration for taking too long to respond to the tragedy. Prayers to those effected by this disaster: 143 people were killed in Kano (north Nigeria’s largest city) after radicals known as the Boko Haram planned an organized attack on the city’s police stations, immigration offices and the local headquarters of Nigeria’s secret police.
