Bobby’s been locked up for a little over 2 years now and it’s been nothing but more drama for the Brooklyn rapper. Now he’s gotten transferred to a facility up north New York, where two famous rappers previously did time.
Bobby Shmurda has now accepted a plea extending his sentence. Shmurda is currently already serving a sentence of atleast six years for conspiracy and weapons possession. He has now admitted to trying to smuggle a shank into jail.
Photo Credit: Instagram Bobby Shmurda was sentenced to seven years last month on the gang conspiracy and weapons case from 2014, but the rapper was facing an additional charge. While incarcerated, his then-girlfriend Kimberly Rousseau reportedly passed him a “sharpened metal object,” which he later lied to a Grand Jury about. In a hearing yesterday, the Bronx assistant district attorney offered Bobby a deal of 1.3 to four years in state prison, in exchange for pleading guilty to an “E” felony. This would likely run concurrently with his current sentence, so he wouldn’t have to do extra time.
