Philadelphia’s Penn Landing was turnt all day and night thanks to The Roots Picnic. The 8th annual music festival brought out a clever mix of artists young and old. There were several major moments to remember like A$AP Rocky performing songs off his new album A.L.L.A for the first time and a nostalgic set from Afrika Bambaataa. Bishop Nehru – “Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP” [Tracklist + Cover Art]
Following NehruvianDOOM, a collaboration with the icon, MF Doom, Bishop Nehru is releasing his own project. Nehru has revealed the cover art as well as the 8-tracklisting for the project, featuring Que Hampton, Zone and more for the May 11th release of, Nehruvia: The Nehruvian EP. The EP is slated to drop under the Nas-driven label, Mass Appeal. Although the credits have yet to be released, it’s rumored that Nas also plays the role as executive producer – as he is for the upcoming documentary, Shake The Dust – for the album. Joey Badass Says Bishop Nehru Collaboration Is On The Way With the release of his debut studio album, B4.DA.$$ now officially behind him, Brooklyn, New York rapper Joey Bada$$ took time to answer questions from fans during a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) session yesterday (January 22).A handful of users asked the Pro Era lyricist about possible collaborations with his fellow artists. Joey confirmed that he’s been in talks with Raekwon, Method Man, and Tek of Smif-n-Wessun.
