Chris Brown was forced to delay the January 28 start of the Between The Sheets tour with Trey Songz and Tyga, after a judge refused to sign off on it because of 100 hours worth of unfinished community service. In just under 2 weeks, however, Breezy was able to complete them, and the tour is now officially underway…but there are some hiccups along the road. Although most of the 9 affected dates were able to be rescheduled, 2 had to be cancelled (Bridgeport on 2/20 and Minneapolis on 3/3,) while 4 are going to be without Trey – Charlotte (March 14), Houston (March 16), Greensboro (March 18) and Hampton (March 19.) As for the rest, they have been squeezed in between the current dates, while the remainder were tacked on to the end. Check out the new schedule below.
Chris Brown Cancels The Between The Sheets Tour, Because The Judge Said So!?
Tsk Tsk … Seems like Chris Brown can’t catch a break. Looks like some ladies [and fellas] are going to have to keep their panties on a little while longer. Thanks to some of the legal whoas that Chris Brown has been involved in – e.g., the nightclub shooting and of course the old thing with Rihanna – the new age R&B bad boy has to reschedule (not cancel) the Between The Sheets Tour with Trey Songz and Tyga. A judge decided that he was not going to sign-off on Chris making his rounds of the Behind The Scenes Tour until he completes his 100-hours of community service. Ouch. That sucks. Some fans are going to be heartbroken, but not more the Chris himself. In an open letter, the “Autumn Leaves” artist promises that he’s doing everything in his power to make sure that the community service gets done. The show must go on. As previously announced, Chris Brown and Trey Songz are gearing up to hit the road together this winter on the highly-anticipated (by every girl ever) “Between The Sheets” tour. Tyga will be opening up, but I’m sure no one but Kylie and maybe Blac Chyna really care about that. Anyway, as one can expect, there will be TONS of ladies in attendance, some even with their boyfriends who either a) are really secure and just want to do something nice for their lady or b) are the exact opposite and are accompanying them solely to make sure they don’t groupie out and do something crazy. For these men, Trigga and Breezy have a message for you below. (P.S. Fellas – here’s a tip. Last night [Nov. 10], during a performance at the House of Blues in Los Angelos, Chris Brown and Trey Songz announced their ‘Between The Sheets Tour’. “It took awhile for something like this to happen because you do grow a friendship over years and I’m excited about it, more excited about it than any tour,” Trey said. Special guest will be the one and only arrestee, Tyga. The first stop will happen January 28th in Hampton, Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum, and rounding up the 25-stop tour happens March 8th at The Foru in L.A. Hit the jump for a list of dates.
