(Photo) That’s Messed Up! The Oscars Did WHAT To ‘Bat Kid’?!

Andrew Garfield is blaming Oscars producers for devastating 5-year-old Batkid. The little one was supposed to make a surprise Academy Awards appearance with the “Spider-Man” star was 86d at the last minute. He claims he didn’t bail on the boy, but the little one did NOT get to go. There are reports Garfield “threw a tantrum when producers rejected the script he wrote for the presentation — and left 5-year-old Miles Scott high and dry” but reps for the actor say, it’s not true. The reps say “Garfield DID contribute to the presentation script, but he had nothing to do with the segment getting yanked from the broadcast.” They say Garfield and Scott did the dress rehearsal Saturday without a hitch and it even made people CRY but hours later, Garfield was informed through email that the segment didn’t fit with the tone of the show … and therefore had to be cancelled. To make it up to Batkid who was terribly sad about it — Garfield brought him to Disneyland on Monday & even conducted a mini Oscars ceremony in Scott’s hotel room. They even wore a tux! So CUTE! SMH: Make-A-Wish Foundation Has A Message For The People That Say Batkid Didn’t Deserve His Wish!

The Make-a-Wish Foundation has been hearing some nonsense and have decided to set it straight! Some jerks are starting with the foundation saying Batkid did not deserve his wish since he is in remission. Make-a-Wish really went all in — turning San Francisco into Gotham City for 5-year-old cancer patient Miles Scott, who wanted to be Batman for a day. Miles has been battling lymphoblastic leukemia since he was 20 months old, now some people on the Internet have had the audacity to say he didn’t deserve his wish because he’s currently in remission. Make-a-Wish rep Josh deBerge says that’s just wrong, telling TMZ … “We would never penalize a child for getting better.” According to the rep, when Miles was referred to the foundation he met all three eligibility requirements: 1) a life-threatening medical condition, 2) between 2-and-a-half and 18 years old, and 3) hadn’t received a wish from another wish-granting organization. That’s all that matters!

(Photos) A Little Positivity: San Fran Turns Into Gotham For Batkid With Cancer!

San Francisco turned into a clip out of a comic to help make a 5 year old’s cancer patient’s wish come true. Miles Scott, a kindergartener from Tulelake, California, has been battling leukemia since he was 18 months old. His leukemia has been in remission, since he’s finished treatment in June but the illness can return at anytime. What kept him strong? Miles grew a fascination with super heroes and asked San Francisco’s Make A Wish Foundation to make him Batkid. Awwwwwww. To read more and see pictures, click below.
