The Oklahoma City Thunder suffered an utter collapse, losing three straight games to the Golden State Warriors despite holding substantial leads in two of them. The Warriors came back from 3-1 to win the western conference finals and go on to the NBA Finals against the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Thunder once again found themselves falling short, including their star player Kevin Durant. As you know, Lil B claims to have put the “Based God curse” on Durant five years ago after KD called his music “trash”. Lil B said he would remove the curse if Durant apologized and played him in a one-on-one basketball game. Well, neither happened, and as Durant and the Thunder lost again last night, Lil B and his fans claimed the curse was still alive.

The Houston Rockets are currently 0-3 to start the season and have loss by 20 or more points each game. Their star player James Harden is in a slump as well. Harden shot 6/21 against the Nuggets, 4/18 against the Warriors and just 2/15 against the Heat. It’s looking more and more like the Based God curse is real.

Most of this is just jokes to me but certain instances sure make the Based God curse look real… Lil B previously put the “Based God curse” on James Harden after the Houston Rockets star made the cooking dance his signature celebration and didn’t credit Lil B for creating it. Lil B got a little busy spreading his curse and blessings around and eased up on Harden but now he’s back at it.

Rapper Lil B placed his infamous “Based God curse” on James Harden after the Houston Rockets star made the cooking dance his celebratory signature. Lil B says he created the dance and every celebrity that does it, needs to credit him. Harden failed to do so, so Lil B put the “curse” on him. Harden says there’s no way he stole the dance because he doesn’t even know who Lil B is!

The Golden State Warriors weren’t able to close out the Houston Rockets in game 4 but they’ll have some help during game 5. Lil B and all his Based God glory will be in attendance for game 5 at the Oracle Arena.

Kevin Durant is one of the best players in the league and the Oklahoma City Thunder have come close to winning the championship but never quite got there. Many people, some joking some not, attribute Durant’s woes to the curse put on him by rapper Lil B. The Based God curse was placed on Durant in 2011 after KD dissed him on Twitter. Lil B confirmed that the curse is real and still on.
