(Photos) French Montana Re-Lives Getting Shot In The Head In New Music Video

Before he rose to fame, French Montana was involved in a shooting in his hometown of New York that resulted in him getting shot in the head. (It left a slew of legal trouble too, but that’s since been cleared up.) Thankfully he survived the incident and came out of it even stronger than before, but he’ll never forget that fateful day. The Bad Boy rapper decided to re-live it in his new music video, made apparent by images he posted on Instagram over the weekend. Though I’m not sure what song it’s for, a previous post regarding a contest for his upcoming visual to “Paranoid” could hint that that’s what it is. There was also a post from the set of his collab with Chinx for “Feelings,” so that may be it as well. Time will soon tell for sure! Check out more images from the set in the gallery.

Flying out to Miami this weekend, MGK linked up with super-producer Jim Jonsin (Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop,” T.I.’s “Whatever You Like,” etc.) and got in the studio to start crafting his sophomore effort. No name or release date just yet, but with someone like Jim in his corner, I’m sure this will turn out to be a good one! More pics from their weekend-long session in the gallery!
