The songstress Keyshia Cole has declared her comeback by hopping on a Bad Boy classic, and tapping in some help from a foreign femcee!
Bad Boy’s King Los has taken to HipHopDx to give his opinion on one of Eminem’s popular hits off of his latest project ‘Marshall Mathers LP 2’. Los stated that he doesn’t see anything godly about ‘Rap God’.
For the last few months, word on the rumor mill is that Diddy will be shutting down Bad Boy Records. As far as the longtime label’s employees, some are said to have been laid off, while others he has shifted around to his many other ventures, including Ciroc/Blue Flame Agency, Revolt TV and his newly acquired Tequila. But what about the artists? So far, reports state that French Montana and Janelle Monae are going to be absorbed into Bad Boy’s distributor Interscope Records, while there has been no information given on Machine Gun Kelly, Red Cafe, his girlfriend Cassie (who I’m sure will be fine regardless,) Los or YouTube sensation Megan Nicole…who we didn’t hear a thing from after she signed, but whatever.
French Montana’s Mac & Cheese mixtape series is quite popular amongst his hardcore fan base, and some time ago, the Bronx rapper announced the fourth installment was in the works. In a new interview with Sowmya Krishnamurthy for Rolling Stone, he revealed that instead of another free mixtape, MC4 is actually going to serve as his sophomore album! “I’m going back to the essence on this album,” French said of the follow up to his 2013 debut via Bad Boy/Interscope, Excuse My French. “We’re giving the fans that grew up on me what they want. When we made the other music, it was just to be a little different and not do the same thing over.” He hopes to have the first single out in the next two months. Haaan!
Last night, Diddy brought in the New Year at his Miami home, with tons of his famous friends, his family, good food, Ciroc and even synchronized swimmers! You know Puff can’t ever have a low-key night! LOL! Oh, and according to Machine Gun Kelly, Reverend Al Sharpton “hit the weed.” Gotta love it! Check out pics in the gallery from the Instagrams of French Montana, Drake, Machine Gun Kelly and more, and video below of the swimmers and the fireworks from Diddy’s stepson, Quincy.
