Matthew Dellavedova made a big name for himself during the NBA playoffs, firstly it was for his “dirty” plays but then during the Finals he became the “Stephen Curry stopper”.  For a while, it looked like Dellavedova had figured out the key to shutting down possibly the greatest shooter of all time.  Well Curry eventually put an end to all that talk but still, Dellavedova’s story was apparently enough to inspire a Hollywood film.  Yes really…


Awesome! Kelly Rowland Helps Raise Over $800,000 With Mother’s Day Concert

Kelly Rowland was the featured performer this past Mother’s Day weekend at the Magpie Nest Housing Project in Melbourne, Australia. The special concert was put together by the charity-based organization, and ended up raising a whopping $800,000 for them, which will go toward homeless families, helping to place all the necessary supports around a resident to increase the possibility of them addressing their issues and moving forward with their lives. “I was delighted to support a program that provides housing for the people of Melbourne without homes,” Kelly said of the effort. It’s always nice to hear things like this!

According to them it was because of his past history displaying violence towards women and they did not want someone like that around their citizens. It sounds like a huge reach for the government because Floyd is not gonna be there attacking anyone and he was only going there to promote a fight, but they weren’t trying to hear it. Now comes word his list of demands for while he was there may have rubbed some people the wrong way and may have contributed to his visa being denied.


16-Hour Sydney Siege Ends With The Death Of Two Hostages & The Gunman

Today, Australia served as a terrifying place for more than 40 individuals. A standoff between a man identified as an Iranian refugee named, Man Haron Monis and Commando police officers. Monis had forced hostages to hold up Islamic flags in the Lindt Chocolat Cafe in Sydney’s Martin Place. Heavily armed paramilitary officers, snipers and a swat team surrounded the shop and during the standoff, at least five of the hostages were able to escape. More details after the jump.
