Nominated for the accolade are singer/actress Zendaya (who made headlines this year because of the Aaliyah biopic drama,) August Alsina, Sage The Gemini and Rich Homie Quan. Fans can vote here as many times as you’d like through August 19, and the winner will be revealed when the 2014 BMI Hip-Hop/R&B Awards go down on Friday, August 22 in Hollywood. If you guesstimate via social stats, Zendaya will likely take home the award, as she’s in the millions on Facebook, Instagram AND Twitter. Nicki Minaj and August Alsina dropped their collaboration “No Love” over the weekend, the official remix to a cut off August’s debut album, Testimony. On the track, Nicki says things like, “August you know I’m here to save you,” and, “You front in them streets, saying we’re just friends,” prompting fans to believe their relationship is more than just platonic.
