The governor of Georgia has a very big decision on his hands, one with tons of financial impact hanging in the balance. Governor Nathan Deal is considering singing a bill that will essentially legalize anti-gay discrimination in the state. The NFL is letting it be known he may want to strongly reconsider signing that bill and they are using the Super Bowl as a threat.

The Atlanta Falcons beat the Washington Redskins 25-10 in overtime while the Seattle Seahawks lost to the Cincinnati Bengals 27-24 in overtime on Sunday. The Atlanta Falcons’ new stadium officially got its name today: Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Falcons owner Arthur Blank announced, as expected, that Mercedes Benz, a corporate newcomer to metro Atlanta, has bought the naming rights to the $1.4 billion stadium under construction downtown.
