According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), the feds spent $100 billion for food assistance. The GAO Director of Education, Workforce, and Income Security Kay E. FEMA Assistance Extended For Irene Victims
FEMA assistance for Hurricane Irene damage has been extended. The hurricane hit back in August but people are still struggling with the damage Irene caused. People effected by the disaster will not have until November 30 to register for disaster assistance. People can register three different ways for relief. Find out more after the jump. @Julie1205
