Nicki has 76 songs that have made it to the top 100 chart. Aretha Franklin has 73. Nicki’s recent singles, “Regret in Your Tears,” “Changed It” featuring Lil Wayne, and “No Frauds” with Drake and Lil Wayne have also made it to the charts.

Aretha Franklin has joined in the efforts to help out the residents of Flint, Michigan who are currently being plagued by lead-fused water. Several celebs including, The Game, Big Sean and Diddy have made huge monetary and water donations to the Flint Water Crisis and now Aretha Franklin, who’s a Detroit native herself has announced that she will provide free hotel rooms at the Holiday Inn as well as food to 50 residents of Flint in need of assistance. The Queen of Soul opened up about her decision to donate saying,
“Detroiters usually come to the aid of Detroiters — and Flint is certainly regarded as Detroit. Hang in there.”

Producer Alan Elliott is going to have to pay up because he is not showing Aretha Franklin, the Queen of Soul, the proper R-E-S-P-E-C-T she deserves! In an amended complaint, Franklin says that Elliott needs “to stop the unauthorized release and showing for commercial purposes” of Amazing Grace, a documentary which features footage from the singer’s 1972 gospel concert at New Missionary Baptist Church.
