A new IDC forecast in the Tablet market shows that Apple and Android will lose some ground and Windows gain some traction. With those numbers just reported recently about Surface RT sales I highly doubt Microsoft will break any major ground in the market unless they bring something groundbreaking to the table. Tech Talk News: Majors Labels Not Feeling Apple’s Music Streaming Service!!!
Apple is rumored to launch its Pandora like music service sometime in 2013, the only problem is they have no major label backing on the project, and unless Apple plans on just having indie artists this might be a problem. Back in October Apple were in talks with major labels Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and Universal Music Group, but they didn’t bite on the idea. The idea of Apple starting a music streaming service goes back to a time when Steve Jobs was in charge, but its up to current CEO Tim Cook to close the deal which seems to be problem so far. Only going after companies like HTC and Samsung.
