Blog site Daring Fireball has some inside scoop that Apple is not happy about the praise Google got this over their maps making there way back to Apple products. It is an embarrassing mess when you dump a company for its maps and then when you release your own its a disaster . The executives over at Apple should be more than happy that Google came and saved the day. Nokia’s maps was a good replacement for Apple’s map app but Google has mastered the mobile map. A new survey asked 800 U.S .consumers what mobile device would they would want for christmas. By a landside Apple’s iPhone 5 was the most desired mobile device followed by several Android devices. This attack took place in the land down under over at Australia, a recent update of iOS 6 map app which lead to tons of errors. The errors in the map app lead Police offciers to help motorists who were stranded in a national park. The Police told the media that the maps on Apple’s iPhone was dangerous, and since then Apple has fixed the situation but not before Samsung could take a few shots. Tech Talk News: The Wall Street Journal Confirms Apple TV
The WallStreet Journal has confirmed that Apple is indeed working on a television of some sorts. WSJ says Apple is currently in the process of selecting a design for the television. WSJ says sources have informed that Apple will be selecting designs from Hon Hai and Sharp (No Samsung huh). No word on when the television will be released, since the project is still in the early stages. This might be the project that puts Apple back on the map with Analysts, recently Analysts have criticized Apple for reworking old devices and not innovating, this might be the project that does it.
