According to website Tech.163 the Apple brain trust are looking to develop an Apple smartwatch which would work with other iOS devices via bluetooth. According to the sources Tech.163 got in touch with the Apple smart watch will have a PMOLED display made by RiTDisplays with ITO-coated glass. This might be a good move on Apple’s part since they have’nt released a completely new device since the iPad. Tech.163 says Apple plans on launching the watch sometime in 2013. Apple’s CEO Tim Cook Takes 99% Pay Cut in 2012
It seems Apple’s CEO took a 99% pay cut in 2012 according to Bloomberg. The Apple CEO will get a compensated valued at $4.17 million no stock options. That seems very low for the CEO of one of the worlds most powerful companies in the world. A woman in Nashua, New Hampshire was placed under arrest after trying to buy too many iPhones. Xiaojie Li, 44, bought two iPhone 5s in the past week & wanted to get more. She claims she was sending them to family in China. She doesn’t know much English though & didn’t understand that the store manager was asking her to leave. Tech Talk News: Apple See’s All Time High In Mobile Market, Samsung Right Behind
According to some new data by Kantar Worldpanel ComTech, Apple’s mobile share has reached an all time high in the United States. According to Kantar, Apple’s share is now 53.3% . The share shot up after Apple released its iPhone 5 back in Oct. Things are little different overseas as Samsung is the current leader after they released their GS III this year and seen more growth over the last 12 weeks and now they’ve captured 44.3% share of the European smartphone market with Apple coming in second.
