Back in June of 2012 Apple announced they would be releasing their retina display Macbook pro. Now at the time of the announcement, Apple said the Retina display Macbook would run about $2,200 at the time of release. Fast forward present date and Apple just announced they will selling Retina display Macbook Pro for the starting price of $1499 for 128GB of flash, and $1699 for an upgraded 2.6ghz processor and 256GB of flash not bad. While the Macbook air 13-inch, 256GB flash drive MacBook Air to $1399 from $1499. The (non-Retina) Air has a 1.8ghz dual-core processor and 4GB of memory. There should’nt be a surprise in a price dip since Apple head honcho Tim Cook said at Goldman Sachs that the company was looking at new price points on their products. So if your on the market for a new laptop this is the time to strike.

The New York Times just got a major scoop that Apple may be working on iOS-based watch with a curved glass display. Apple would be the latest major company to look into wearable technology, including Google with their Glass project. The NYT’s sources say it’s in the very early stages, but could use Corning’s new Willow Glass, which is supposed to very flexible.
