Apple started this year on top of all smartphone manufacturers and still has had a steady increase. Samsung is quickly gaining on Apple’s numbers but can Apple hold on to its OEM lead. More and more people are starting to use Android phones more so and actually Android OS comes in first place so far this year as Apple is second with iOS.


Apple Wants To Patent A Wireless WHAT???

Apple submitted a new patent application today, for a wireless display to the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The wireless display would be a touchscreen that detaches from its laptop base and has wireless charging. The display and base will communicate through a 60 GHz wireless chip and any type of data transmission can be used like Bluetooth and WiFi.


Apple To Launch TV Really Soon!!!!

Reports are saying Apple will be launching its iTV this year. It will feature a remote control ring that viewers can wear on their finger, according to sources. The new 60 inch iTV will cost around $2,500.


Apple Apologized To Who?!?!

Over the past few weeks, Apple has been criticized by media in China for being arrogant towards consumers in China. Apple apologized to Chinese consumers on Monday for poor communication over its warranty policy and said it will change the terms for some of its iPhones sold in China. Tim Cook said in a letter, “We are aware that a lack of communications…led to the perception that Apple is arrogant and doesn’t care or attach enough importance to consumer feedback,”

Yesterday Apple turned 37. The company was founded on April 1, 1976 by Steve Jobs, Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Later the company incorporated as Apple Computer, Inc. on January 3, 1977. In 2007 the company dropped “Computer” from its name in order to focus more consumer electronics and just on computers.


Apple Launching A New Service?!?

Apple is reportedly getting ready to launch its own music stream service similar to Pandora by this summer. The music service will be called iRadio and will rival both, Spotify and Pandora. Sources are saying, “Apple has achieved a lot of progress with music labels” and that there is no doubt the service is coming.
