50 Cent’s new album Animal Ambition debuted at number 4 on the Billboard charts with 47k sold in its first week…a far cry from his last album, 2009’s Before I Self Destruct, which debuted with a 160k start. However, the difference was a huge label behind the latter (Interscope) as he’s now completely independent…and he’s not worried. 50 Cent’s independently released Animal Ambition fared decently on the charts this week, debuting at number 4 with 47,000 copies sold.
