Kim and Kanye’s controversial Vogue cover stirred up a bunch of drama from the second it hit newsstands. Ana Wintour was blasted for picking KimYe for the cover of the world-renowned magazine. However, she proved the haters wrong because as of now, the couple’s issue sold a total of 500,000 copies! This means they beat Beyonce, who sold 350,000 issues, and First Lady Michelle Obama, who sold approximately 300,000. However, that’s not all. The issue is projected to sell a total of 1.2 MIL copies after subscriptions are totaled into the final number. Kim and Kanye also make the first interracial couple to have ever appeared on the cover of the mag. DOPE!

American Vogue’s editor-in-chief Ana Wintour found Miley Cyrus’ provocative and straight up nasty VMA performance to be “distasteful” to the point she pulled the 19-year-old from covering the world-renowned fashion mag. Wintour had intentions of making Miley the next big fashion icon but after the former Hannah Montana star began acting out, that idea got yanked ASAP to save the magazine’s rep. Yet another example of “when twerking goes wrong.” They should make that into a TV show or something.
