75 years after her mysterious disappearance, a discovery has been made in the case of Amelia Earhart. The International Group for Historic Aircraft Recovery (TIGHAR) found a jar of anti-freckle cream that was used by Earhart in the South Pacific leading them to believe even more than she was on the uninhabited island of Nikumaroro in the republic of Kiribati after her plane went down. Amelia Earhart’s Goggles and Photos Auctioned Off For More Than $31,000!
Amelia Earhart’s goggles and personal photos were auctioned off for more than $31,000 on Sunday morning. The goggles were donated by a friend of hers and 24 photos were taken as she prepared for her March 17, 1937 flight. Read more after the jump. @Julie1205
