There has to be something more to this story, has to be.  Over the weekend tennis pro Maria Kirilenko announced that she broke off her engagement with Capitals star Alex Ovechkin.  Today reports have surfaced it’s because of a picture that was posted on Instagram. So what was happening in the picture?!  It all seems pretty innocent, that’s why many believe that there’s more to the story.  The photo was shared by Ovechkin’s friend, Vitaly Fridzon, and it was picture of Ovechkin and Russian gymnast Karolina Sevastianova sitting together in the back seat of a helicopter.  Was someone about to join the mile high club or what — cause I’m not getting it.  I guess we’ll have to stay tuned to see if more develops from this story.  Ahhh, the power of social media.  Hit the jump for the pic…
