After sharing his battle with cancer with the world and undergoing a successful surgery to have a tumor in his kidneys removed Boosie Badazz is now cancer-free. In honor of his struggle, Boosie revealed he will be dropping a new album. The project scheduled for release January 1st, 2016 will be titled, In My Feelings (Going Thru It). In an Instagram message to fans he wrote,
“Last Christmas was the greatest. I was healthy n with family this year I’m rehabbing from cancer surgery, me n a few people that’ it ,no Christmas tree , my kids not even here, but I’m still here n ain’t going nowhere str8 up…N u see the cover yep I’m dropping a album on New Years on what I been going thru so Merry Christmas n a Happy New year.”

Lupe Fiasco recently alerted the hip-hop world when he announced in 2016 he would dropping 3 full length albums – not including his also recently announced “The Cool 2” in winter 2017. Although, not giving any further information for the upcoming trifecta besides one album title titled Drogas, he stated to fans, “not taking any questions at this time”. When Rick Ross’ latest album Black Market only did 57K copies in it’s opening week (an unusually low number for his eight album career), it started to raise some questions as to why it sold poorly for Ross.
