CustomKicks: Jake Ferrato x Adidas Crazy 8 “Python” Custom

The year of the snake has really been making its way throughout the sneaker community. We have seen some ill designs using the snake theme, so it takes us by no surprise to see this latest customization. Sneaker customizer Jake Ferrato from JBF Customs designed these dope kicks for Iman Shumpert of the New York Knicks. (PHOTOS) NCAA: Payback?! Check Out The Kicks Kevin Ware Rocked & Cuts Down Net with Teammates

After suffering one of the most horrific injuries the sports world had seen, Kevin Ware’s team won the NCAA Championship last night.  Ware was courtside and after each of the players had taken his trip up the ladder to cut down the nets, the basket was lowered. Leaning on his crutches, Ware finished the job.  What a picture perfect ending for Kevin Ware. On a sidenote, did you notice the kicks that Ware was rocking last night?!  Nike pink foamposites. (Photo) NBA: Iman Shumpert Shaves the Adidas Logo In His Head Then Has it Removed

New York Knicks’ guard Iman Shumpert always has a unique way of showing his personal style.  From his 80’s – 90’s clothing to his growing high top fade, Shumpert is pretty unique.  He is also signed by Adidas and chose a special way to represent his other team.  He showed up for the game between the Knicks and the Bucks with the Adidas logo firmly on display, shaven into the back of his head.  The problem here is that it goes against the NBA’s branding rules and they contacted Shumpert about having it removed. (Photo) NCAA: Adidas Pulls Controversial Kevin Ware T-Shirts

Controversy arose when Adidas rolled out new T-shirts following the brutal leg injury of Louisville Cardinals’ Kevin Ware.  It was great to show support of him but the problem is, it’s against NCAA rules for student athletes to get any of the profits; so basically Adidas was pocketing all the cash.  The shirts added fuel to the already growing debate of whether or not college athletes should be paid.  Things got a bit too intense for Adidas and they pulled the shirts.  Read more after the jump.
