Lizette McKesson and her organization “A Thousand Shoes for A Thousand Smiles” teamed up with Pusha T this year to give back for the Holiday season. Thanks to Push’s relationship with Adidas, 1000 children in Push’s hometown of Norfolk, VA walked away with brand new sneakers yesterday afternoon. “She just came up on me the other day at a restaurant, just saying that she wanted some help with the charity so on and so forth,” Pusha said of meeting Lizette. “I was like man — I got connections, I got influence. Haring was brought on bored because his artwork was actually used for the original single of Run DMC’s “Christmas in Hollis”. The kick even comes without the laces, true to DMC.
