I normally don’t cover these kind of stories, but this one hit close to home. My little brother was diagnosed with ADHD at an early age and since some doctors don’t believe it’s even a “real” disease, it was a CONSTANT struggle up through his early teens. Teachers didn’t understand him, doctors couldn’t help him…it was awful. The fact that they’re now adjusting the age range to include more children shows they’re truly paying attention and that’s amazing! Children as young as 4 can be diagnosed and treated for ADHD now (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), according to new guidelines from the American Academy of Pediatrics. Read on for more.
