Wiz Khalifa stopped by Power 106 in Los Angeles this week, as he gears up to release his new album Khalifa on February 5. While chopping it up on The Cruz Show, Wiz decided to spit a few bars over the number one song in the country, Adele’s “Hello.” Of course, Wiz knows a thing or two about having a number one record, especially after “See You Again” dominating the charts this summer! Viewers of the show are in for a treat with performances from Kendrick Lamar, Adele, and the Weeknd. All three artists have are up for several nominations, with Kendrick Lamar in the lead with 11 nods, including ones for ‘Best Rap Song’, ‘Best Rap Album’ and ‘Album of the Year’. Adele was the latest celebrity to take a drive for ‘Carpool Karaoke with James Corden’. During their drive through London, the ‘Hello’ singer proved to fans that she’s actually a lot more interesting than her music may reveal. After going through a medley of her own records including,”Hello,” “Someone Like You” and “Rolling in the Deep,” Adele topped off an already entertaining performance by showing off her rap skills. The songstress admitted that she’s not so great at rapping on her own but with help she can spit a verse or two. Amazingly, Adele was able to keep up and slay Nicki Minaj’s verse on ‘Monster.’ Check it out below.
