New York Giants kicker Josh Brown made headlines after old journals, emails, and letters revealed the physical and emotional abuse he inflicted on his now ex-wife, Molly. The documents were gathered when Brown was charged with 4th-degree assault/domestic violence. The charge was eventually dropped, Brown served a one-game suspension, and the incident was swept under the rug, until now. Brown remained quiet for a while as tensions around the league continued to fester but today he released a statement through ESPN NFL Insider, Adam Schefter. In the statement, Brown denies that he ever hit his wife, which is a flat out lie. He also apologizes that his past has called the Giants integrity into question. Um, the sorry needs to go to his wife who is so scared of him she had to use NFL security.
