NFL: Ex-Patriot Aaron Hernandez’s Double-Murder Trial Delayed
Today, a judge agreed to delay the former New England Patriot’s double-murder trial, originally scheduled for May. Aaron Hernandez had been arrested for the slaying of two Boston men, Daniel de Abreu and Safiro Furtado, in 2012. NFL: Aaron Hernandez Now a ‘Model Citizen’ & Can Watch the Patriots in Jail
It looks like Aaron Hernandez just needed a change of scenary. Ever since he relocated to a new jail, Hernandez has been a “model citizen”. You may remember he was charged with assault for beating up a fellow inmate and threatened to shoot and kill a guard at the other jail. He was not allowed to watch TV but since he has good behavior, now he can watch the Patriots if he wants to.

NFL: Aaron Hernandez’s Lawyers Try To Have Murder Charge Dismissed, Judge Says No Way!
These lawyers were bugging to even think this would work but I guess they really had nothing to lose. Aaron Hernandez’s lawyers attempted to have the murder charges against their client dropped regarding the death of Odin Lloyd. Hernandez’s lawyers argued that prosecutors hadn’t shown probable cause to sustain the murder charge against Hernandez in the death of Odin Lloyd and hadn’t presented any evidence or motive for the slaying. There actually is quite a bit of evidence against the former Patriots star and the judge was not having that.
