January 18 marks one year since we lost the A$AP Mob’s visionary, A$AP Yams. In his memory that day, Rocky and the crew will be kicking off the inaugural A$AP Yams tribute concert, Yams Day. Going down at Terminal 5 in Yams’ hometown of NYC, the show will include performances from the entire Mob (Rocky included,) as well as Joey Bada$$, Lil Uzi and more to be announced. I truly hope at least some of the members of Dipset will be in attendance, seeing as though Yams got his start with them as in intern, and he always named them as some of his biggest influences. A$AP Rocky & Tyler, The Creator Announce Upcoming ‘Rocky & Tyler’ Tour
A$AP Rocky and Tyler, The Creator have joined forces to take over the game together! The two rappers announced via Twitter that they will be hitting the road together for their upcoming “Rocky & Tyler” tour, kicking off September 19th of this year. The show will make a total of nine stops (for now) and will also feature the musical talents of Vince Staples and Danny Brown. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 7th. A$AP Rocky Announces 16 Day Trip Tour With Wiz Khalifa
Calling all Taylors and…Mobbers? (Is that a thing?) Taking to his Twitter page early this morning, A$AP Rocky revealed that he’d be teaming up with Wiz Khalifa for a tour this fall! The 16 Day Trip Tour goes down this October, and hits various spots throughout the UK and Germany. I hope they bring this over to the States too! Wiz and Rocky toured together on Wiz’s Under the Influence tour in 2013 and it was LIT, so I’m sure this will be as well. Tickets go on sale this Friday. Full list of dates in the gallery.
