(Photos) Rapper The Game Donates $6,636 To Young Girl Who Lost Her Mother In Car Accident

This is a super dope and commendable move by West Coast rapper The Game. Ever since he launched his Robin Hood Project, the Compton OG has helped so many young people in need. For his most recent good deed, Jayceon Taylor hosted a bowling night at Studio City’s Pinz to raise money for Aaliyah, a four-year-old who lost her mother, Brittney Nickerson, in a car crash. A bunch of A-list celebs such as Khloe Kardashian and Rosa Acosta were in attendance, raising a total of $6,636 for the little girl. Check out some flicks from the event in the gallery!

RIP, Babygirl! We miss you! Check out some of our favorite videos from the late songstress below.

The Drake/Aaliyah Posthumous Album Unfortunately Won’t Be Happening!

Drake has long pronounced his love for the late Aaliyah, tattooing the singer’s face on his back and wearing an earpiece baring her image during all of his shows. Back in the summer of 2012, Drizzy dropped a song featuring unreleased vocals from her, and revealed that soon, an entire collaborative album with himself and unheard music from Aaliyah would be released. Plenty of delays and negative comments from people close to her and not so close (like fans) later, the project has been officially kicked to the curb. OVO’s in-house producer Noah ’40’ Shebib dropped the news in a new interview with Vibe, saying, “The world reacting to Drake’s involvement so negatively, I just wanted nothing to do with it. Ultimately, I wasn’t comfortable and didn’t like the stigma.” “We released [‘Enough Said’], but I was seven songs deep,” the producer added. “[Aaliyah’s] mother saying, ‘I don’t want this out,’ was enough for me. I walked away very quickly.” Damn, I wanted to hear this!

(Photos) Yikes: Karrueche Gives Explaniation On Tasteless Aaliyah Reference

A few days ago while Karrueche Tran was on an airplane, she posted a photo on her Instagram page of an Aaliyah coloring book saying, “bought a cool coloring book for the plane.” Being that the late R&B songstress died in a plane crash, the online world did NOT take Tran’s comment very lightly. Before this situation got even more messy, Chris Brown’s Blasian boo went on her Twitter page to clear up the confusion IMMEDIATELY. Take a look at the gallery to peep it all.
