The life of a highly paid athlete comes with expectations and sometimes stress, but it also comes with perks we can’t even imagine. Thus is the $9 million dollar mansion Blake Griffin had built just outside Los Angeles, in the same neighborhood as fellow NBA star Chris Bosh. The place is immaculate. The L.A. Times reports that Griffin recently spent $9 million on a custom-built “Cape Cod-inspired” property in the popular celebrity alcove found between Malibu and Santa Monica. The NBA All-Star’s new home court touts 9,100 square feet of living space spread across three floors, with a range of high-end amenities and luxuries befitting one of basketball’s brightest young stars. there’s a gourmet kitchen, a home theater with stadium seating, a gym and three fireplaces. The master bathroom –– one of six bedroom suites –– boasts a spa-like bath and walk-in closet. The house is perfect for parties that I wish I was invited to. Check out the pics after the jump.
