After bursting on the scene in 2012 with her hit single “R.I.P.” and her self-titled EP, the UK songstress has been cast in the film adaptation of the super successful book, Fifth Shades of Grey. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Rita will play Mia, the adopted younger sister of Christian Grey. The movie began shooting today in Vancouver. What do you think of her new role?

I had the first book, Fifty Shades of Grey for a while before I cracked it open, but when I heard that there would be a movie – only right that I read the book before watching the movie. I FELL IN LOVE – judge me not! The final two I read in about a week or so! Ecstatic about the fact that the two leading characters were cast, I was giddy. According to sources, the hacker group Anonymous, hacked documents from Constantin Film’s internal server. One of the documents published online, showed Emma Watson was confirmed to be ,the lead star, Anastasia Steele of the screen adaptation of “Fifty Shades”. The rumor of Emma Watson, known for playing Hermione Granger in Harry Potter movies, playing Anastasia Steele has been going around for awhile. Last year, she was asked about any upcoming roles and her response was that she hasn’t read a book or a script and There are so many movies you become attached to when she’s never received a phone call for.
Mila Kunis Wants To Star In 50 Shades Of Grey Movie?!?!
So by now if you haven’t heard of the 50 Shades Of Grey bestseller, I’m certain you live under a rock. A movie adaptation for the women’s erotica title is due to surface and many celebrities have been rumored to be linked to the project, most recently Mila Kunis has expressed interest in the female lead role saying,”There are times when you just want to do something fun and different because you’re going to have a good time doing it.” Other stars interested in doing the flick include Emma Watson from the Harry Potter franchise, Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood HBO series, and Amanda Seyfried who was most recently seen in Les Miserables.
