Method Man paid a visit to his old Staten Island neighborhood in the Park Hill Projects and reminised with Grantland about selling drugs as a youngin’, gaining his rep on the streets as an emcee, and hearing ’36 Chambers’ in full for the first time ever. Today we pay tribute to the life and music of deceased rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard or ODB. The Wu-Tang clan founding member passed away on this day in 2004, just two days before his 36th birthday. After Wu-Tang exploded on the music scene in 1993 with the album “Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),” ODB became notorious for his wild behavior and his hit singles “Brooklyn Zoo”,”Shimmy Shimmy Ya” and much, much more!!
