Andre 3000 finally comes clean about some new music he’s been working on, as he’s known to dead any rumors that a full length LP could see the light of day. Hit the jump for the full story.
3000, who has not provided a verse to a hip-hop track in months and is currently dealing with the loss of his mother, got on Ryan Merchant’s and Sebu Simonian’s (aka Capital Cities) track “Farrah Fawcett Hair” that is narrated by NPR’s Freelance Funding Credits Announcer, Frank Tavares. It will be on In a Tidal Wave of Mystery, which drops June 4th. For those not into music by alt-dance groups, the OutKast member’s verse begins at 1:39. Listen below.

Posted by Sabrina B. @gametimegirl The Derek Jeter 3,000 hit lovefest continued this weekend as his New York Yankees teammates honored the Captain with a statue — of himself — before Saturday’s game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Commissioned by Jorge Posada and CC Sabathia, the 225-pound stainless steel sculpture is a likeness of Jeter waving his cap above a giant “3,000.” The Yankees also honored Jeter with crystal vase and other goodies on Saturday.  Check it out after the jump…
