NBA: Carmelo Anthony Passes LeBron James as U.S Leading Olympic Scorer

Carmelo Anthony has proven himself to not only be the leader of Team USA, but also the star of the team.  Anthony is the only men’s basketball player to participate in four Olympic games and now he’s the all-time leading scorer, passing LeBron James.

As usual, Team USA’s mens basketball team has absolutely been destroying their opponents in exhibition games.  On Monday they wrapped up their unbeaten exhibition tour with a 110-66 victory over Nigeria.  Toronto Raptors duo Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan had the highlight of the game with this crazy alley-oop dunk.

NBA: Team USA Announces Men’s Basketball Roster for 2016 Rio Olympics; Only 2 Return From 2012

With everything going on in Rio in terms of health and safety, injuries, and some players just wanting rest, a lot of the players from the 2012 U.S. Men’s basketball team did not return for the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.  It’s still quite a roster however that should definitely still be able to make some noise.
