Kanye West closed out the show at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, but unfortunately for fans of the SWISH rapper – we could barely hear OR see anything that he did! A trigger-happy censor left for moments as long as 15 seconds at times of pure silence during Ye’s performance of his current single “All Day,” while the pyrotechnics he’d opted for ended up drowning out the stage, leaving him barely visible amongst the flames for a majority of the performance. BBMA execs were first to respond, pointing the finger at Kanye for not showing up to the final rehearsal, making the point that it then left them in the dark about what he’d be doing. Now Ye’s reps have shot back, and as one could imagine – they’re not happy.

The 2015 Billboard Music Awards featured tons of performances from major names like Iggy Azalea and Britney Spears, Chris Brown and Pitbull, Nicki Minaj and more, but no one had quite the performance that Kanye West did. Well, at least I think…since we actually couldn’t hear OR see relatively anything that happened. Yeezy opted to perform his recent single “All Day,” which as we all know, is riddled with tons of curses – particularly with the n-word repeatedly in the chorus. Apparently apprehensive of this, the person who was working the censoring for the BBMAs got a little trigger-happy, and bleeped out so much, you truly didn’t hear much of anything but “all day” being said for the most part. The censoring went as long as 15 solid seconds at times! Kanye‘s love for pyro also served him wrong, as the fireworks and smoke were so thick, you couldn’t see anything else for a majority of the performance. It was just one big fail all around…including the introduction from Kendall and Kylie Jenner, who were booed as they did so.

Things got so heated to the point he even shared some harsh words with the star of Empire, Taraji P. Henson, awhile ago. Ever since the battle of the shows went down, things have been rocky from the looks of it between Fif and Taraji. However, last night at the 2015 Billboard Music Awards, The Effen Vodka creator put his differences past Taraji and made amends with her. 50 captioned their photo, “@tarajiphenson pretty ass was there looking good. I told her don’t fight me women, love me. LMAO (POWER) returns June6 #EFFENVODKA #FRIGO #SMSAUDIO.” LOL, Fif is always playing! But seriously, we cannot wait for Power AND Empire to return.
