It was a good night for the world of hip-hop (as far as pre-recorded shows go). During the 2015 BET Hip Hop Awards, Future opened up the show with a bang, cyphers were full of dope lyrics for days, and of course Snoop Dogg made us laugh. Overall, all of the winners were well-deserved. DJ Mustard was recognized as DJ of the Year as well as Producer of the Year, while Big Sean won People’s Champ for “Blessings,” and Kendrick Lamar’s “Alright” single shined. Nominees Announced For The 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards
The nominees have been revealed for the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards…although you know what everyone really is here for are the cyphers! Airing on October 13 (this is usually pre-taped about a week or two before – not sure if they’re continuing with this formula), Drake takes the lead with 12 nods, while Nicki Minaj, Fetty Wap, Big Sean and Kendrick Lamar also received a great amount of nominations.
