Just before the 205 BET Awards went down this past Sunday night, Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend, Safaree ‘SB’ Samuels, took to Twitter to allege that he’d been banned from attending. “So Bet told my publicist I’m ‘banned’ from Bet red carpet, hmmm wonder why..,” the upcoming rapper wrote. “dnt recall a situation occurring w them but hey #itiswhatitis” Many assumed the obvious following his tweet – that Nicki had decided to be Petty Wap, and keep her ex from attending an event she’d be at with her new man, Meek Mill. Welp, Meek appeared on Sway In The Morning this week to promote Dreams Worth More Than Money, and not only did he say that the “ban” was far from the truth – he made sure to throw TONS of shade in the process. After she premiered the trailer to her forthcoming video “BBHMM” toward the end of the night, cameras caught Rihanna exiting the stage and getting into it with BET’s President of Music Programming, Stephen Hill. Though there’s no audio in the clip, you can see Rihanna mouthing something like, “Why? See this is why the f*ck I hate BET,” then throwing a stack of money at him and walking away. The fact that the cameras so perfectly caught this showed it was likely a skit relating to her video, and sure enough, the pair were kissy-kissy on social media just a short while later.

Last night’s 2015 #BETAwards was a L.I.T. situation. Need I remind you of the Fetty Wap “Trap Queen” performance, K.
