Earlier this month, rumors started circulating that Big Sean and Ariana Grande were an item, after the pair were spotted on a date at the movies in Florida, and also had some pretty telling Instagram posts from the same place at the same time. The news came shortly after Sean’s split from Naya Rivera back in April (and surprise wedding to another man just 3 months later,) as well as Ariana’s split from her longtime boyfriend earlier this summer. Last night the “Best Mistake” collaborators confirmed the rumors, as MTV’s backstage cameras captured the pair happily holding hands as they walked down the hallway with Sean’s entourage in tow. (Hey Zeno!) What do you think of these two as a couple? I can’t get over how young Ariana looks so it’s a little awkward to me, but they’re both seemingly super sweet so I’m not mad at it!

Yasss! Nicki Minaj and all of her big booty glory will be taking their talents to the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, performing her brand new single, “Anaconda,” live. This will be her first solo set on the main stage of the iconic awards ceremony, having performed her will.i.am assisted single “Check It Out” during the pre-show in 2010, and assisting Alicia Keys with “Girl On Fire” in 2012. The 2014 MTV Video Music Awards will be going down on Sunday, August 24th in Los Angeles, and none other than Usher has been tapped to kick off the big show! This will be perfect promotion for his forthcoming album, as well as a celebration for the 20th anniversary of his self-titled debut!
