RIP: Joan Rivers Dies At 81
One week after her heart stopped during a surgery on her vocal cords, legendary comedian Joan Rivers has passed away at the age of 81. Her daughter, actress Melissa Rivers, took Joan off of life support at Mount Sinai hospital in New York, and she passed “comfortably” in a private room, surrounded by family and friends. So sad. Rest in peace!
*Update* Joan Rivers Reportedly On Life Support
81 year-old, Joan Rivers was rushed to the hospital Thursday after she collapsed. Her daughter, Melissa Rivers then reported she was in comfortable condition after being put into a medically induced coma after going into cardiac arrest. Melissa is hopeful that her mother will bounce back, but news just circulated that Joan Rivers is now on life support. According to TMZ, no decision will be made for a few days, regarding River’s future. The hospital and Melissa Rivers haven’t commented on Rivers’ condition.
