Last night, Lil Wayne performed at the MassRoots 420 Rally in Denver. His set was the usual medley of hits and crowd interaction, but a clip that’s surfaced online has an interesting highlight. “Say, ‘f*ck the bullsh*t!’” Wayne prompted the crowd, to which they echoed the words right back. “And F*CK Cash Money,” he yelled, before instructing his DJ to go into the next song. Looks like that beef is still very much alive, despite Wayne and Birdman having been photographed together earlier this year, and even appearing on a record together. In his recent interview with Ebro In The Morning, Birdman said he’s not holding Wayne back from releasing anything and that Tha Carter 5 dropping is all on Wayne…but this seems to tell a different story. Hmm! Check out the clip below, courtesy of my homie TZ, who was in attendance.
Birdman is back talking that boss talk! For the past few weeks he’s been making sure people put some respeck on his name. Check out the music video for his latest song “Stunna” after the jump!
Don’t people know better than to sign to Cash Money at this point? Look at what it did for Bow Wow…Khaled…Busta Rhymes…Mystikal…Christina Milian…Jay Sean…Austin Mahone…Young Thug… That’s right – absolutely nothing! Producers who work with the label don’t get paid, hell – even their star artists don’t get paid! Really and truly, who in their right mind would sign with this label in 2016? Well apparently, AR-Ab and Compton Menace. The news was announced via IG earlier this week. If you’ll recall, Philly-based AR-Ab made headlines last summer when Drake mentioned him in his Meek Mill diss, “Back To Back.” And if you know nothing about Compton Menace’s music, you may recognize him as the gang member from Straight Outta Compton that brought the gun on the school bus in the movie’s opening scene. Congrats I guess. Or maybe good luck?
Birdman capitalizes of his viral mispronunciation by following up with an official visual for his latest single “Respek”.
Yesterday, rumors circulated that Toni Braxton and Birdman were an item, after a picture of them backstage at her concert on Sunday hit the web. It was accompanied by “reports” that they’d been seeing each other on and off for a while, and that backstage at the show, they were quite cozy. Well, Tori’s sister Tamar has a response to the rumors…kind of. Check out what she had to say below.
