Uh Oh! Cash Money Records Hit With A Lawsuit

Bad news for Cash Money Records, they have been hit with a lawsuit for unlawfully using someone’s track. Back in the 1972 The Persuaders had a hit called, “Love Gonna Pack Up (and Walk Out).” Robert Poindexter, a member of the band, is now coming at Cash Money saying one of their artist used the song for a sample but was never cleared to use it. Rick Ross Creates Lyrics In Reference To His Shooting

He put it into a song. Ross hooked up with Young Scooter, Birdman, and Gucci Mane to create the remix for “Columbia,” and he used the attempt on his life to create the bars. “These n****s can’t hold” Ross back. They just gave him more material to use. “Chickens like the Wing Stop/ N—a tried to kill me, but I had the thing cocked,” Rozay spit, and then followed it up with “they think I know the voodoo/How they keep showing my Ghost on that Channel 2.” Well…Drop down bottom for the whole song.
