Birdman is going through it all business wise between Turk and Lil Wayne suing him for millions, but Cash Money still reigns supreme, according to Billboard. Slim and Baby made the cut for Billboard’s 2015 Power 100 list! The list gives honor to some of the most powerful people in the music industry. Ronald “Slim” Williams and Bryan “Birdman” Williams were listed at number 90. They took a tumble on the list, falling down 40 spots from last year. Birdman happened to be the only rap performer to be included this time around. They are mentioned with some of the greats, such as BET executive Stephen Hill & Debra Lee, Epic Records executives Sylvia Rhone and L.A. Reid and Roc Nation’s CEO Jay Brown.

Though he just released his Sorry For The Wait 2 mixtape…and though DJ Drama just announced that they’re working on a sixth installment of their Dedication mixtape series…and though Tha Carter V will be coming eventually…Lil Wayne took to Twitter early this morning to announce ANOTHER new project coming, The Free Weezy Album. This guy doesn’t stop! Tunechi is currently battling Birdman in court to be freed of his Cash Money contract and/or to have C5 released, so it could be quite some time until that project sees the light of day. No word on how he plans to put out FWA (whether free or for sale) but we’ll see soon!

As Lil Wayne battles it out with Birdman and Cash Money, his longtime, on-again/off-again boo Karrine “Superhead” Steffans has made it very clear who her loyalty is with. Taking to Instagram earlier this week, the controversial author/vixen showed off her new hoodie, which sports the original YMCMB logo with the CMB (standing for Cash Money Billionaires) crossed out, making it for Wayne‘s Young Money imprint only. In the caption, Karrine thanked “JUST THIS ONE” for the gift, but didn’t explain who that was. She has a million and one nicknames for Tunechi, though, so it’s quite possible that it’s him.
