Birdman Addresses Jay-Z Alleged Diss on “H.A.M.” (“Baby money”)
In a roundabout way, Birdman responded to Jigga’s jab on H.A.M. Who knows if it was really a diss or not (when Jay raps, “really, half a billi, nigga? Really? You got baby money). I didn’t take it as such but a lot of people did. Apparently Stunna did as well, as he took to Twitter to poke back at it. “we gonna keep spending “baby money”…billionaire minds stay tuned,” he tweeted yesterday. Lupe Fiasco Starts Interactive Weekly Music Offering
Lupe is the latest artist to start up a weekly music offering (“Fiasco Fridays”) but this one has quite an interactive twist. Leading up to the release of his upcoming album, Lasers, every Friday he’ll be releasing something for the fans, but in order to get it, you have to download his new Red Laser app for phones. For the first time since its debut on the charts just 11 weeks ago, Nicki Minaj’s Pink Friday is sitting at number 1! She’d debuted at number 2, just behind Kanye West and continued to stay in the top 10 but never quite hitting number 1 until now. The newcomer has achieved some career milestones just a few weeks into the new year. A platinum plaque, a number one album, appearing on SNL and prepping to embark on her first major tour with Wayne.
