NetFlix on PS3 AND Wii made Easier!!!!

Last Week PS3 announced that you no longer need a disc to run NetFlix and now It’s not just the PS3 that will be doing its Netflix streaming disc-free from today: the Wii is joining in the fun as well! Americans and Canadians alike will be able to download and install Netflix from the Wii Shop Channel, provided they’ve signed up for a subscription of $8.99 (C$7.99 in Canada) or above. Notably, over three million Wii consoles are said to have been hooked up with Netflix since the service launched back in April, and this step should make that number grow even larger. Only question is what we’re all going to do with those three million redundant discs now. We can’t turn them all into coasters, any ideas? @TatWza for TatsTechTalk

Your Mornings will never be the same!!!

Need a little Boost in the Morning?? How about “Endless entertainment from a clock radio?” you say, cynically sipping on your tea. “Yes, that’s what I said!” desperately cries the Altaz press release embedded below, pledging that its new 3.5-inch touchscreen’d Internet Clock Radio will keep you smiling until the end of time. The device will naturally tell you when exactly that is and wake you up before you get there, also showing the weather, streaming internet radio, and sucking down photos from Picasa. You know, pretty much all the stuff a Chumby One can do. But, can it walk? Unlikely, though the built-in battery, SD card reader, and 802.11g wireless do conspire to make it reasonably independent. All yours for a $99 MSRP, though a little Googling will save you 15 bucks or so. @TatWza for TatsTechTalk

iPhone Has a Power Boost!!!

I have some details for you on Mophie’s upcoming Juice Pack Universal line. Ready? Okay: available at the Apple Store sometime this month (and at Mophie’s website now), all the new models, including Boost ($60), Reserve ($40) and Powerstation ($100), are compatible with all iPhone and iPod touch form factors, while the latter also throws iPad compatibility into the mix. Additionally, Reserve and Boost both feature one amp current (which, as the company points out, means they’ll charge your device twice as fast as your standard 500 mAh charger), while Power Station boasts 2.1 amps. Besides being a little Clunky, kinda Clean Right?? Purchase Details @TatWza

ipad and Another great Accessory, Home Theater Set!

Took ‘em long enough, huh? iHome’s iA100 was actually introduced way back in July, and at the time, it was essentially the only iPad-friendly home stereo system on the planet. Now, iHome has a bit of friendly competition out there, but at least it’s getting this guy out on store shelves long before the holiday shopping season hits full swing. For those who missed it the first go ’round, this here docking system touts Bongiovi Acoustics’ DPS technology, an inbuilt alarm clock, Bluetooth and support for the iPad, iPhone and iPod via a 30-pin Dock Connector. Too bad it’ll set you back a full $199. to Purchase @TatWza
