Google held applications over Twitter & Google+ last week for for anyone who wanted to get their hands on Glass. To get involved, you had to use the hashtag #ifIhadGlass & explain what do would do you with. JetBlue has decided to enter in their application with pictures showing off what they would do with Glass. Can The NEW Mobile Firefox OS Take On iOS & Android With THESE Phones?!?!
Firefox OS finally got shown on a couple of smartphones. It feels like they will have to start off on some less than great ones, The ZTE Open & the Alcatel One Touch Fire will release later this year in emerging markets such as Brazil & Serbia, but won’t come to the US anytime soon, if at all. Mozilla has gone on to say we’ll see update phones in America in 2014(after some sort of success). Check out more information in the link after the jump.
T-Mobile Says Mobile Contracts Are No More???
The days of having a contract with TMO maybe over, back in Novemeber the company announced they would be giving up on contracts and looking for alternate ways to sell smartphones. According to an internal memo obtained by TmoNews, the company may announce next the end of contracts or as the memo calls it “uncarrier” plans. The new uncannier plan would eliminate two-year contracts, early termination fees and traditional phone subsidies, allowing customers to instead purchase new devices with a monthly installment plan. Also TMO may also announce “dual 4G” .
Samsung Invites Everyone To Galaxy SIV Unveiling
Samsung is ready to launch its Galaxy SIV next month. They will be unveiling the smartphone at Radio Muic city Hall, but if your not apartof the press you can witness the unveiling at Time Square, as the company has invited everyone to witness their new device. Samsung has’nt revealed the specs for their device but the rumored specs are rumored to be “1.8GHz eight-core Exynos 5 Octa processor (or a Snapdragon chipset, according to recent rumors) along with a 4.99-inch 1080p full HD display, a 13-megapixel rear camera, 2GB of RAM, 4G LTE connectivity, a micro SD slot, wireless charging capabilities and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.” Peep the invite after the break.

Google Founder Says Google Glass Dropping This Year But For How Much???
Google co-founder Sergey Brin and the man of the hour with Google glass took the stage earlier today to talks about the unknown and unreleased project known as Google Glass. The project is 2 years in the making. Brin thinks the glasses will be the way of the future and the days of checking your smartphone consisntely will be a thing of the past. Brin says he isa victim of checking email and social media updates on his smartphone because he thought “as if it was something really important.” It was comparable to a smoking habit, he said. “I had a nervous tic. But with Google Glass, I’ve really enjoyed exploring the world more.”The one thing Brin comfirmed was the Google glass will be released by years end for a whopping $1,500. “You’re standing rubbing this featureless piece of glass,” Brin said. “Is this the way we were meant to use our bodies? You want something that will free your eyes.”
