Microsoft Defends Its Product!!!

Windows RT has had it share of criticism since it was released but Microsoft is standing by its product. Michael Angiulo, Microsoft’s corporate vice president of Windows planning, told CNet that, “If you look forward a year or two and you look at the performance output of ARM chips, those are some really capable chips,” Angiulo said. “I think it has a very bright future.” But many analysts beg to differ, calling for Microsoft to abandon the operating system before its too late.


Google Is Making A Smart….WHAT?

First there was a rumor about an Apple iWatch, then Samsung was working on its own smartwatch, and now there are reports that Google is working its own smartwatch as well. According to the Financial Times, Google’s Android team will be working on the device that would be similar to a smartphone. Which matches reports of Google filling for a patent in 2011 for a watch with a flip up display and a touchscreen.


Whoa!!!!! LG Is Accusing WHO Of Stealing Their Patent?!?!?

LG is accusing Samsung of infringing its eye-tracking patents. The new GALAXY S 4 by Samsung has eye-tracking capabilities called Smart Pause and Optimus G Pro by LG has Smart Video which also has eye-tracking. LG says that in the years 2005 and 2009, they applied for patents for eye-tracking with the ability to pause a video with your eyes and both devices do this. Right now LG has to wait for the release of Galaxy S4 to be positive that their patent was actually infringed.


Is THIS Device Finished For Sure?!?

There are two conflicting reports out on whether BlackBerry plans to continue making PlayBook or terminate the line. BlackBerry’s Product Director, Mike Al Mefleh said at a forum panel that a new PlayBook model will be introduced later this year. Meanwhile, the CEO of BlackBerry, Thorsten Heins, said in an interview with Australian Financial Review, “The business case for taking a plunge back into the tablet market was not compelling,” adding, “I wouldn’t want to do it the same way again, if I do something around tablets, I want it to be substantial and meaningful, and quite frankly it would need to be profitable as well.”

Sony today unveiled two new smartphones running on Android 4.2 operating system. The Xperia SP and Xperia L are both scheduled for a second quarter release date, this year. Both phones will come in red, white and black colors.


Purple Samsung Galaxy S III LEAKED!!!!!

After just launching Samsung Galaxy S4, it looks like the Galaxy S III smartphone is getting an update. A photo of the new purple color Galaxy S III was leaked by @evleaks on twitter. The new color option should be available for Sprint users in April.
